The Wallaceburg News reported that George was training at A.I.D. Inspectors School, Malton, ON. LAC Webb was home on a week-end leave from RCAF-Hagersville. WN 28/08/41 George was stationed at RCAF-Hagersville he was on a two week leave. George and his wife spent a week-end in Toronto to see the Ice Follies. WN 20/11/41.

The WN reported that Sgt. Webb was a weekend visitor to his mother’s home in Wallaceburg.
