Born in 1919 at Kitchener, ON. The son of Vergie Labombard of 30 Arnold St., Chatham, ON.

Ronald enlisted in July of 1940 with the Royal Canadian Regt. in London, ON. At some later date transferred to the Royal Canadian Artillery.

The IODE Books or Remembrance listed this individual incorrectly as WELDON. Thanks to Kathy Szymanski, Roland’s granddaughter for correcting this error. An addendum will be added to correct this error.
