Private Samuel Robert Wilkinson trained with the 186th Battalion until his discharge.

16/03/17 – DISCHARGED – Medically unfit. Due to Arthritis discovered 1/08/16. To discharge 19/03/17 at 19 years 1 month (Student) Mentally unfit – not due to Military Service 

Disease: – Mitral Regurgatation. Probably before enlistment. “Loud murmur at the apex propagated into the axilla and heard also in the back. He does not complain of pain or shortness of breath. He is otherwise fit. Medical Discharge 6/03/17. 

Letter from the Dept of Veterans Affairs dated 23/11/1970 that S. R. Wilkinson died 17/11/1970 at Westminister Hospital, London ON.
