A physician. Previously served in the 1885 Northwest Rebellion.

He served at the Somme where he was Mentioned In Dispatches. He was wounded in action at the Battle of Courcelette by gas.

Major Hudson returned to Canada where he died in 1950. The government of Canada acknowledged that his death was caused from his war injuries (gas) and his wife was awarded a Memorial Cross.
