
Signaller Cecil Cox trained with the 186th. Battalion as Signaller, leaving for overseas March 26th, 1917. In England he took a Signaller’s course at Shoreham, proceeding to France December 9th, 1917, posted to the 1st. Canadian Battalion. Following a few month’s service he was promoted to Brigade Signaller, remaining until the Armistice was signed when he marched with his unit to Germany.
