The WJ 3/04/41 reported that Ken had a two week’s furlough from his regiment. He an family were visiting relatives in Wheatley. The WJ 14/07/41 reported Pte Loop of Chatham spent a week with family in Wheatley, Married and a son Danny. The WJ 23/10/41 reported Ken, stationed in London, ON. with wife and son where visiting relatives in the village. The WJ 11/12/41 Pte. and Mrs Loop were visiting in Wheatley over the weekend with Mrs. Roy Pickford.
