Of Dresden, ON. The DT 3/07/41 reoprted that Clayton had enlisted in the Canadian Army.

The CDN 10/12/45 reported that he returned to Canada aboard the S. S. Mauretania. Next of Kin: C.H. Lucas, Dresden.  Arrived aboard the S.S. Mauritania from overseas docked at Halifax NS. 1 January, 1946.  

Discharged October 1945.

Clayton passed away in February, 1948.
