The youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. A. McDonald of Chatham, ON. In July of 1944 Henry was stationed at RCAF-Dartmouth, NS.
The CDN 11.07/44 reported that he was married to Alice Elizabeth (nee Long) at the Wesley United Church in Chatham. The couple had a wedding trip to Muskoka. On and they would later reside in Chatham.
