A single labourer. Attestation: 7/07/1915 at Niagara Camp, to 58th Bn. 

He was the son of David McMackon and Susan (Stone) McMackon, residents of Highgate until 1911.
He was awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre medal in 1918.
He served with the 3rd and 9th Canadian Machine Gun Corps in France & Belgium.
He was discharged on Oct. 31, 1920 in Toronto and died of war wounds on April 13, 1927.
