Richard Stone McMackon was born in Highgate, Ontario on March 23, 1898 and his parents were David McMackon and Susan (Stone) McMackon, Highgate residents until 1911.
Richard enlisted on April 16, 1918 in Toronto. He served a a Gunner with the 71st Battalion, Canadian Garrison and the 2nd Battalion, CFA. He was discharged on December 20, 1918 in Toronto.
Richard was employed by the TTC in the City of Toronto.
He died on June 15, 1980 in Toronto.
