“Runaway accident while on duty. – This man while on horseback and going on duty to Ordinance  Stores was thrown from his horse and sustained an oblique fracture – left Tibia and Fibula about 3” above the malleolus. Now completely healed with ½” shortening and slight eversion of foot, walks with a slight limp and uses a cane yet. No tenderness or soreness and motion in the ankle and knee joints are not impaired – Otherwise ‘Fit’ – Category “D” 111- One months convalescence. – 3/11/1917 at London, ON. 10/01/17
