Born in Harwich Twsp., Kent Co., ON. The daughter of John and Veter (nee Keiver) Richards. The sister of Lola (Miner).

She served in many areas during the war.

After the war she worked as a legal secretary in Chatham. Mary was a philanthropic person and would give to anyone she felt was in need. 

Mary passed away 6 July, 2018, interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON., interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
