N of K: Richard Sampson (brother) of Coatsworth, Kent Co., ON. Harry was a First Nations person, a single labourer living in Coatsworth. Attestation: 1/05/1916 at Essex, Co. to the 99th Bn. He would be transferred to the 20th Bn. (Queen’s Rangers) in the 2nd Division’s, 4th Brigade.

Age: 18 yrs., Height: 5’ 5 ½” , Girth: 33”, Complexion: Dark, Eyes: Black, Hair: Black. Medical: 1/05/16 at Essex, On., “Fit”.

Harry was admitted to the Moore Barracks 4/ 08/16 suffering from Boils. He was discharged 9/08/16  June 1916 to the 99th o/s, Bn. Transfer to 20th Bn. Date of Service: 27/08/16. 

Sailed from Halifax aboard the S.S.Olympic 31/05/16.  Disembarked at Liverpool 8/06/16. Transferred to 35th Bn. at West  Sandling. 28/08/16 TOS. 20TH BN.
