Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Taylor of Cross Street, Chatham, ON and brother of Ted (RCAF). 

Pat was reported as stationed at RCAF Belleville, ON. CDN 2/02/42; before being stationed at Guelph where he was attending the Wireless School and had been home on a weekend pass CDN 25/04/42. In March of 1942 he was stationed at RCAF Mt. View when he was given a two week furlough to visit his parents in Chatham. His brother Jackie was recovering at the time. CDN 16/03/42 

The CDN 9/09/43 reported O/S Pat Taylor had just recently left Quebec City for HMCS Cornwallis where he was taking a naval signalling course.

The CDN 9/09/ 43 reported that AC2 Pat, had arrived in Chatham from Edmonton AB. After a short visit home he departed for Quebec City for further training in the RCAF. Almost at the same time his brother was leaving Quebec City for Cornwallace, NS.

In January of 1944 Pat was in the RCNVR as an Ordinary Seaman stationed on the east coast. He was at this time on leave as was his brother Ted and both were visiting their parents on Cross St., Chatham CDN 19/01/44.    Both brothers had been home for a short visit. Ted would be returning to RCAF Vancouver Island. CDN 19/01/44.
