Pte. Ted was stationed at London, ON. Edward was reported on a week end leave at home with his wife and daughter Ann. The WN 15/04/43 reported that Ted was home on a weekend leave to see his wife and daughter. Again in December 1943 he spent the Christmas holiday with hs wife and daughter Anne. WN 20/12/43

 He was reported spending a few days at his mother’s home and family in Courtright. WN 21/03/46.
