Arrived in Chatham from overseas duty 8 August, 1945. CDN 8/08/45.
The DN 21/11/45 reported that Roy was honored by friends and relatives at Huff’s Church. Music and an address o Roy was followed with the presentation of a signet ring and Red Cross tie clip. Roy thanked the society, for the many boxes of “comforts” that he received while serving overseas.
