Private Herbert Williams enlisted at London March 23rd 1918 in 1st Depot Battalion W.O.R. and proceeded overseas July 1918, he crossed to France Sept 1918 and joined # 7 Coy Forestry Corps, he left France Jan 1919.

Embarked 10/07/18 at Canada aboard S. S. Saturinia and disembarked in England 22/07/18. Joined 7th  Coy. disembarked in France 10/10/18. Admitted to No. 6 General Hospital – Roune for Scabies.

26/10/18 hospitalized at Rouen Hospital for Scabies and discharged 13/11/18. He wasTOS from hospital 16/11/18. SOS for demobilization to camp at LaHavre.

Returned to England to Rhye. TOS from Rhye. 12/04/19 Reported SOS to Canada sailing 7/05/19. Embarked aboard the S.S/ Celtic 7/05/19 

William was discharged from the army 17/05/1919.   Discharged at London May 17th 1919 due to demobilization.

Herbert Williams passed away 21 November, 1959.
