Army (photo). Born 1 July, 1919 at Mull,  Harwich Twsp., Kent Co., ON. The son of Herman Jonathan and Verlie Edna, (nee Pfaff) Woofenden. Francis was their oldest child. The brother of Richard Jonathan (1920 – 57), Stanley, Edna Fern, Evelyn, Thomas, Alfred, Verlie Jean, Margaret Rose and Frederick. The husband of Connie.

Francis enlisted 10 October, 1941 at Windsor, ON., the same day as his brother.   

He must have transferred to the RCAF as he is in a Army uniform in a picture provided. 

In 1972 Francis was on the Voters List as a labourer living in Leamington, ON. 

Francis Henry passed away 27 September, 1990 and is buried at the Morpeth Cemetery at the village of Morpeth.
