The Merlin Standard 6/06/44 reported that Ray left to serve in the RCAF. He was present at the RCAF-Manning Pool – Toronto.
It was reported in the Merlin Standard (date other than 1944 unknown). It had been reported that he had transferred to Assiniboia SK from the Toronto Manning Depot.
