William had chronic Bronchitis for the past 10 years. Medical History of Invalid:- Found to be ill 

This man has numerous course bubbling and ‘sororous raleson’ expiration throughout the chest. He has slight wheezing in the mornings and evenings. Spits up some thick phlegm in the mornings at times . Has been the same for 10 years. Is as well as when enlisted. Heart and other organs normal.   

From his time of enlistment beginning with the 34th o/s, A3536 – 3/08/15 He was reported 3/08/15 to 26/11/15 as a Deserter. Found to be ill and a “Bad Character”. 71st o/s. Batt. 127444 – 24/10/15

William was approved for discharge 12/10/1918 at Woodstock, ON.
