John served in the RCAF as a Pilot and Navigator enlisting in 1939 he served overseas in England. Arriving at Halifax, NS. 29/09/45. John was a founding member of the Blenheim Freedom Library and Military Museum.

John passed away Tuesday, 20 November, 2012 in Chatham, ON at the age of 95 years old. GOHS.
