The son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dupuis of Dufferin St., Tilbury. Pte. Dupuis was married to Olive (nee Blair) of Tilbury they had a daughter Mary Alice and a son Michael James. He received his education at St. Francis Separate and Tilbury High School. Prior to his enlistment he was employed at the Hudson Motors Ltd. of Tilbury and later at Canadian Top & Body Co. for 12 years.
Romeo enlisted 1512/43. Received his training in Canada and in England in April of 1944. Pte Dupuis was active in invasion tactics in France where it was believed he was wounded by shrapnel.
