N of K:- Mrs. Caroline Edwards (mother) also of London, England.   A single labourer living at 98 Woods St. Attestation: 3/04/1916 at Chatham, ON to 186th Bn. Richard had a tattoo mark on his left arm.  22/08/18 at Military hospital. 22/12/18 – 11/01/19 contracted Influenza at London, ON.  Attestation: 3/04/1916 to the 186th Bn.

Apparent age: 18 yrs. 11 mths.,  Height:  5’ 5”, Girth: 36”, Weight: 135#. Complexion: Fresh, Eyes: Grey, Hair: Sandy – “Fit”, 3/04/16 at Chatham, ON. He had three vaccination marks on his left arm. Date of Admission 11/01/19  to 22/01/19 Debility returned – Would return to the Military Medical Board at Chatham .  

“Never served out of Canada or the USA – Enlisted with the 186th Bn. 3/04/16. Transferred to 1st CGR. Nov, 1918. Trans to AMC FEB. 1919. Trans to Clearing Services Command – CEF. –Discharged 26/09/19 – Demob RC. -1420. Never served at the front during the present war – Declared 24/09/19.” 

Date of Admission: 11/01/19. 16/01/18 He underwent exams of his lungs which were good, and Heart – having ‘Dizzy Spells’ 21/01/19 Fully convalesced – Recommended Discharge and while waiting ‘Light Duty’. He was examined before Discharge, at London, ON. ”Cleaning Services Command – Discharged with  $83.60. 25/09/19 at Quebec – 24th Sept 1919 SOS Cleaning Services – Discharged from the service – Sept. 1919 at Quebec 24/08/16.
