Regimental number: 844456. Reference: RG 150, Accession 1992-93/166, Box: 3672 – 42, Item: 423263, PDF: B3672 – S042. Date of Birth: 18/01/1889 at Dresden, ON. Next of Kin: Mrs. Samuel Dennis (sister) of Brighton, ON. Occupation: Cooper. Attestation: 20/12/1915 at Brighton, ON., age – 25 years, height 5’ 10 ½”. Reported a scar on his Lt. knee.

While he was training at Camp Borden, ON. he reported an Ear trouble 12/06/16. While at Camp Borden he was reported Absent without Leave and was SOS (struck off strength) 15/08/16 and reported “Illegally Absent” – DESERTER.  

It would appear that, at some point while at Camp Borden, he marries an Orpha F. Gough of Brighton was listed as his wife on the camp records.

His unit, without Pte Gough sailed for England 28/03/17.

Harry owed the Army $67.00 in back pay and his kit and was recovered 30/12/1920.
