The son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Henry of R. R. 2 Turnerville,  Chatham Twsp., (Eberts) Kent County, ON. The brother of William Donald (RCAF), Alec and Agnes. Thomas was a second year O.A.C. student when he enlisted in the spring of 1941.

Thomas was reported promoted to Pilot Officer while he was on active service overseas. CDN 14/03/44(P)

The CDN 1/03/45(P) reported that ‘radar officer’ Henry had arrived in Chatham to be greeted by members of his family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry and siblings Alec and Agnes, his other brother William D. serving in the RCAF stationed on the west coast was not in attendance.

The CDN 27/02/45 reported he had been serving overseas since September of 1941 as a radar officer. He had lately been serving in Italy. He received his commission just a year ago.

 Reported being discharged from service CDN 21/09/45.
