Maxine was the daughter of Norman and Natalie (Denomy) Huxley of Raleigh Twsp., Kent Co., ON.  She was the sister of Norman, Mary and Doris and enlisted in the RCAF.  

She served in W.W. 2.

The CDN 23/02/43 reported that Mrs. Robert Hind entertained on a Saturday evening for her sister Maxine before her departure, Maxine would leave for Rockcliffe where she would be attached to the RCAF (WD). Maxine received a pretty compact as a farewell gift.
