Corporal John James Imeson, from Wheatley, ON of the Royal Canadian Service Corps, served in Italy. While he was driving a jeep with two of his comrades, they ran over a mine. They were all KIA. He was the husband of Pearl and father of four children.  He was a brother to George J who also served in WW2.  He is buried in Cesena War Cemetery. He was 30 years of age.
