The son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jones of Thamesville, ON.  Allen enlisted in Chatham, ON. 

The CDN 11/01/45 reported that PO. Jones had completed his tour of operations and was looking forward to be back in Canada on a special leave.  The CDN 5/03/45 reported that P/O. Allen had four brothers also in service, Ben D. Paratrooper, Chris, Ivan Garnet and Lawrence all in the Highland Light Infantry.

Jones had returned home after completing his 32 operational flights as a rear gunner in a heavy bomber. It was reported that although he had some close calls he liked the life and would return to action.

Allen passed away on 7 Nov 1990 in St. Thomas, ON.
